PUMP announces new vocalist !!

German heavy rockers PUMP have announced the addition of vocalist Oliver Weers (OLIVER WEERS BAND, RIPE, D.I.M) to the group’s their ranks.

Commented PUMP bassit Michael Vetter: “We had many candidates for the vacant position, among them a number of really good musicians, and having to reject them really wasn’t easy. We want to thank all the applicants, thank you for your understanding and we wish you all lots of success in the future!”

Guitarist Aki Reissmann has to say: “We are extremely excited to announce and welcome Oliver Weers into the band as vocalist. Oliver has really been a breath of fresh air for us, and in the first week of jamming with him we were able to finish the recoding of the new album ‘Waiting For The Rapture‘ soon. Oliver’s voice add new dimensions to our sound. IMMOLATION: Album Title and Release Date Announced!

 

New York death metal legends, IMMOLATION, have announced Kingdom of Conspiracy as the title of their upcoming ninth full-length album. The follow up to their 2010 release, Majesty and Decay, will be released on May 10 in Europe both digitally and physically via Nuclear Blast. The album was recorded at Sound Studios in Millbrook, NY with longtime producer Paul Orofino, and mixed and mastered once again by Zack Ohren (ALL SHALL PERISH, DECREPIT BIRTH, SUFFOCATION).

“We are really looking forward to getting the new CD out there to the fans,” commented guitarist Robert Vigna. “ I don’t think they are going to know what hit them after they hear this one! Kingdom of Conspiracy is one intense and miserably dark record!”

David Shankle and his band DAVID SHANKLE GROUP (DSG) are now signed to PURE STEEL RECORDS

 

Hell Yeah! The former MANOWAR guitarist David Shankle, also known as “The Shred Demon”, has signed a worldwide deal with PURE STEEL RECORDS with his band DSG ! After 6 years of silence, the new and third album of the band is to be expected in the summer / autumn 2013.

David Shankle is still one of the most respected and talented guitarists in the world.

“David Shankle has long been one of my personal faves. For our label it’s an important step to get the confidence of a well-known artist like David. The new album is a hammer – I can promise already” says Andreas Lorenz from the label.

David Shankle states: “I am very excited about releasing this new album in 2013 and myself and the DSG band  have found true metal brothers with Pure Steel Records, this has allowed us to create an epic metal record.”

In the last few years the drummer and mastermind of the band, Rig, as well as bass player and (now) singer Andrea Giovannoni (a.k.a. Rhae) had to pause this project due to others ( Fuoriuso, Strange Wings,Forgotten Tears, All Amort).
“I m very happy, Rig said, to be back finally with this new line up made of great musicians and persons, we are full of energy and new single shows that ! Thats why we decided to put it online for free … Hope you will enjoy it !”
