Link to the review: Novembers Doom – “Bled White”
Cited as one of the earliest death/doom metal bands to come out of the US, Chicago’s Novembers Doom will release their ninth studio album titled – Bled White on July 15, 2014 via The End Records.
The follow up to the group’s critically acclaimed full-length Apothic (2011), an album that received some of the band’s strongest reviews and fan responses since their inception, was recorded at Belle City Sound with engineer Chris Wisco (Jungle Rot, Nachtmystium) handling recording and co-production duties with Dan Swano (Bloodbath, Nightingale) spearheading the mixing for all eleven tracks on Bled White.
Ever since their humble beginnings in 1989, the band has striven to create their own unique brand of dark, brooding and melancholic metal music. Constantly evolving and pushing the restrictions of minor genre tags, November’s Doom has created a unique and identifiable sound, making their mark in the metal world.
Consisting of founder vocalist/lyricist Paul Kuhr, Larry Roberts (guitars), Vito Marchese (guitars), Mike Feldman (bass), and Garry Naples (drums), Novembers Doom has garnered international success by performing with bands such as Agalloch, Saturnus, Ajattara, and Nightingale, as well as performing high profile festival dates at Brutal Assault, Graspop Metal Meeting, Chaos Emergente’ and other festivals throughout western Europe.
The band plans to tour the US and Europe in 2014 in support of their new studio release.

In the last four decades, Krokus has played over 2,000 shows across 5 continents. Every gig, every place and every crowd was different but all showed tremendous enthusiasm towards the band. This proves that there is still a place for the eternal flame of Rock ‘n’ Roll – our medicine of life.”

Dead Letter Circus Announce American Release of New Album

ANNOUNCE PREORDER CAMPAIGN WITH EXCLUSIVE ITEMS AND EARLY DIGITAL RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE New York, NY (August 21, 2013) – When Dead Letter Circus blasted onto Australian airwaves in 2007, their bombastic yet nuanced take on alternative rock left most observers struggling to process what they were hearing. It was epic, it oozed confidence, it was intense and open all at once. It was the debut of a sound so fresh and unique that it was hard to classify.
Debut album This is the Warning hit #2 on the national Australian ARIA charts and spawned 6 radio singles, with 2 commercial crossover hits One Step and Cage being added to major networks, and the album being certified Gold. The Catalyst Fire is the follow up to Dead Letter Circus’ hit debut album and will be out on Tuesday October 29th via The End Records. Dead Letter Circus have spent the last nine months writing and recording their sophomore album with long-term producer and collaborator Forrester Savell. Comprising of 11 tracks, the album marks a clear progression of the traditional DLC sound, while retaining the energy and intensity they are known and loved for.
Dead Letter Circus are unlike any rock band to emerge in years. Watching someone on their first listen to alternative breakthroughs Dead Letter Circus searching to come up with a neat description is fascinating viewing… “It’s kind of like… no wait, it’s more of a… Wow, I have no idea what it is, but it’s different…”
Part of the beauty of the soaring, sing-a-long choruses, chiming atmospherics and delay soaked tones of Dead Letter Circus is their escape from easy classification via labels or scenes. But with a #2 record on debut that has now gone Gold, the message is clear – it’s music that resonates.
With the last 4 national tours SOLD OUT, the band’s videos getting international airplay, and huge stadium shows with Muse and Linkin Park, in 2011 the band lit up the main stage of the Big Day Out outdoor mega-festivals, and scored two songs in the world-famous triple j Hottest 100 Poll. More recently, DLC were voted into triple j’s Hottest Australian Albums of All Time, toured the USA three times, played SxSW, sold out shows in the UK, were voted as one of Red Bull’s Top 11 Rock Acts, a host of US rock and college radio stations jumped onboard, and Total Guitar UK ranked them in their Best Guitar Albums of the Year. Dead Letter Circus arrive in 2013 ready to unleash their much anticipated second album, The Catalyst Fire, with tours to South Africa, UK/Europe, the USA and Australia coming up.
